***INVENTORY & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER***
Are you a process-driven, analytical supply chain professional who thrives on accuracy, forecasting, and continuous improvement? We’re recruiting an Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations within a regulated environment.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a highly visible role where precision, structure, and care truly matter. You’ll ensure stock integrity, supplier performance, and logistics operations run efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on patient and customer outcomes.
Salary c.£50-55K depending on experience + healthcare + pension +death in service + 25 days holiday + on-site parking
The Role
You’ll lead inventory control, supplier management, and outsourced logistics operations, ensuring:
- Robust, structured supply chain processes
- Accurate forecasting and stock planning
- Full traceability and regulatory compliance
- Reliable product availability for customers
This role requires someone who is data-led, detail-focused, and committed to maintaining the highest operational standards.
Key responsibilities for the Inventory & Supply Chain Manager include,
- Supply Chain & 3PL Management
- Act as primary contact for the 3PL provider, monitoring SLAs and KPIs
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, customs, storage, and distribution
- Reconcile ERP and warehouse data to maintain complete stock accuracy
- Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies
Inventory & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using sales data and trends
- Implement structured reorder points and safety stock models
- Monitor stock rotation, expiry management, and lot traceability
- Produce monthly stock health reports with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Identify risks such as slow-moving or critical stock and take proactive action
Supplier & Compliance Management
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance reviews
- Raise and track purchase orders end-to-end within the ERP system
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GDP, MHRA, and medical device regulations
- Own returns, RMAs, and field actions with full documentation and audit readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in supply chain, inventory, or logistics management
- Strong forecasting and analytical capability
- Experience managing suppliers and 3PL providers
- ERP system experience (Dynamics 365 / Business Central desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting
- Background in healthcare, medical devices, pharma, or another regulated industry preferred
